I will not bore everyone to tears and repeat what I said about silent films in Il Padrino's fabulous Old Hollywood Movies topic,  but I love them and their film scores.

Not sure if this will float anyone elses boat, but it rocks mine! the creativity makes my soul tingle!

The ones I could hear were dramatic and haunting.  Metropolis sounded most intriguing, and Trip to the Moon was delightful.

Hammer horror - they had lush scores.

The Lodger had one of my favorite scores. I think it just goes to show how great Alfred Hitchcock wassmile.
