Ooh, we have several votes and Molonians has taken the lead with 71.4%, followed by Damiacs at 28.6%

Despite coming up with the term 'Damiacs' on twitter many moons ago....I voted Molonians, partly because Damiacs/maniacs association feels a bit ..wrong these days!

Can anyone think of any new ones?

Molonians is still the clear winner with 75%

Agree with you Kimberfly, I think this is my reason for choosing Molonians too.

Hmm..this has made me realise it may be time to change my forum siggy!

I went for Molonian too.   It has a.....melodic quality to it!  Although I appear to be a Damiac according to my forum title.....

...more respectul to whom?  Him, or us?

I can't decide.  I'm not too keen on nicknames in general.  I used to like Damiac over Molonian, but I agree domino, since recent events I shy away from it.

Maybe just swap them over if Molonian is the most popular - the one to aspire to?

Team DaMo could work here as well...maybe replacing Superfan??

You know. I originally voted Damiac, but the more I think about it, Molonian is more fitting. Damiac is cute, but Kimberfly makes a valid point in saying that Molonian sounds more respectful.

Aw, J-B, I shall get out my spray can again, just for you!

It sounds as though we all like Molonian and Damiac to varying degrees...
good job too because at 100 posts a forum member becomes a Molonian and at 500 posts they become a Damiac!

(partly my reason for the poll, to see if we should change that!)

Good idea Kat with the team Damo swappage, as long as you don't think it too 'twilight'. The Molonian /Damiac thing is round that way because originally Damiac implies a greater level of.... dedication?

Lol! Lisa I didn't think it sounded like a medicine but now you mentioned it, all I can think! It doesn't get away from the maniac connotations either. But keep the ideas coming!

Fingers crossed damien himself is asked about the fandom one day and he comes up with his own name!

I agree about the....dedication aspect. Partly why I asked who the term Damiac might be disrepectful to!  I prefer 'Molonian', but Damiac as a forum title makes me smile...

And they are still my favourite two ideas.  I'm sadly lacking inspiration myself.....
