Leo had just got off the train from Southampton, with a letter in his pocket promising a job on the London Underground, when he was met by Hal who told him that he was the welcoming committee for supernatural brethren...
What I love about this is how much information we are given from so few words....
We learn that Leo had just arrived on the country by boat (..from Southampton) and met Hal at the station in London (..the Underground job) which implies that he was one of the wave of immigrants to come to England from Jamaica in the 50's, invited to work here due to our labour shortage. And it also tells us that he was already a werewolf when he arrived.
....it's a superb bit of scripwriting!
I actually asked this question cos I've been doing a lot of thinking about this lately....if you're interested (and can be bothered) I've articulated it in the Being Human thread.
I don't know how Leo and Hal met Pearl. I've read several fanfics about it, but I don't remember any details in show. Am I missing something?
