Being Human cast members Michael Socha and Kate Bracken have been announced for London Film and Comic Con on Saturday 7 July 2012. (2 weeks time!)

No mention of Damien yet, but I contacted event organisers Showmasters on Twitter who seem to be saying there is still a chance:


 

We obviously cannot speak for Damien and maybe he has something else in his schedule at that time, but any Being Human presence with new cast members would not be complete without HAL!!!


So who wants to see Damien at this London event, in just 2 weeks time?

The only reason i can think of Damien not attending is that he is on holiday, like physically in another country and can't get back in time or he has a prior engagement he can't/won't get out of. It's just odd that Michael and Kate have been announced and he hasn't. There's time yet. Surprised no one has tweeted Damien about it yet (that i know of and no i'm not volunteering for the job!)

I think you may have a point Ruby. Although he has been on holiday since the end of Travelling Light, only coming back to London for the Fashion shows, so maybe the organisers have not been able to get in touch with him or got a firm reply.

Yes it may be that there is a schedule clash for Damien, it seemed from my brief exchanges with Showmasters that an invitation may not yet have been issued...? but I commented on their forum that I hoped it had. Please do head over there to comment and add your voices, they implied this is the basis they work on, though I didn't notice campaigns for Michael and Kate to be invited (lots of people pleased that they were though!) and it seems rather bizarre that the new Being Human vampire, a major character , is not there too!

I personally do not feel it is our place to mention to Damien on Twitter about things like this, I am sure he has or will be approached through the appropriate channels and I am sure his management handle work related matters. If he did a search for his name on twitter he would find the tweets from today, choosing what information he wishes to read about himself on twitter is preferrable to me.

I wouldn't dream of asking him on Twitter either (and to be perfectly honest, i doubt he'd answer anyway) but i will be very surprised if someone hasn't tweeted him to enquire. I'm sure if the invitation is extended and he can do it then he will and i think there's another event at Milton Keynes? i seem to remember there being one last year or has that one already happened? I'm a complete novice about conventions i have to admit.

I see what you mean Lisa, (sorry forgot I was in admin account yesterday when I posted this) I was surprised by the remarkably limited response about it in general on twitter when I posted it yesterday on the Damien Molony Forum twitter page, but I agree Damien does tend to get lots of direct comments from people.

Russell Tovey was at Kapow! Comic Con in May



and I guess there are conventions happening all the time, but apparently the organisers of LFCC are huge Being Human fans, so fingers crossed!

So Michael Socha and Kate Bracken are at LFCC today! In case anyone missed it on twitter, their photoshoot times are:
Michael Socha 1.10-1.35 pm
KateBracken 12.50pm-1.05pm

Have great time to anyone going!

For those not on twitter and following our favourite actor there, Damien made a cryptic comment about something he was doing on Sunday, which I at first thought it could be to do with him being at LFCC, but in reality I think it is highly unlikey.

Fingers crossed for his future appearance as cons though!
