That hat needs to be tossed into the river. I'm not a fan of Victorian costumes, but I'll be happy to look at Damien in whatever he's wearing. Except the hat. I just can't. Please make it go away.

The hat looks like it doesn't fit. Was that the fashion? Coats too big, hats too small? Who the hell set that trend?

Think my favourite is still the brown hat picture. His eyes are just so amazing in it.

I much prefer the loose scarf over the cravat. I'm a practical gal, and disrobing a man in full formal Victorian garb would be exasperating! So much time wasted. Tsk. Those crazy Victorians.

But the cravat could be pulled apart a bit like a tie, yet the scarf needs unknotting!

To be fair, it would take a couple of hours to divest yourself of your dress and corsets and stuff, so plenty of time for cravat removal, lol!

Ummmm.....why do you need to take the scarf off?!

I love the 2 new pics and it's great that Tiger Aspect shared them with us - thanks indeed.

Interesting that his character has been described as cocky....not much evidence in the pics we've seen so far - except possibly the "brown hat" one.  Which is definately still my favourite......

What, those Victorian Whitechapel streets can get pretty disgusting with the dirt and rubbish.  Brown don't show dirt.

Looks like it was taken on the same day as the Hobbs Coffee stuff - great picture though. I always love to see crew pictures because often people don't realise how many guys are needed to make a TV programme (this pic probably doesn't even include all those in Post and VFX and other peripheral roles).

Totally agree, when you think about the creation of tv, from the writing to the finished product there is a lot of expertise and time in many processes. I am always amazed how little credit editors get, it is their skills that actually splice the whole thing together into a coherent piece. Talking of VFX, I was amazed at how much there is in Ripper Street and all the work Ed Bruce and his team do for Ripper Street.

Damo really is a shy one.  He's always on the periphery....

It's like most things.  Many people work behind the scenes to create and fine tune.

Yeesh what is it with that boy and hats....i'm not completely sold on that one either but the suit however thud Blue is most definitely his colour.

I think the only time i've liked him wearing a hat was the fedora from Being Human (1950's Hal). The rest of the time i just haven't liked them, perhaps its the angle the picture is taken but if i had to choose one of the three then the grey slightly fuzzy one is the best of them (so far)
