it looks liek the same day. compared to some shows, that is a small cast and crew.

I was really pleased to find it fifi, it is exciting to see and credit everyone who is involved in the making of a show. I cannot spot Fay Ripley in it though?

I didn't catch that this was a reference to the Homage book til Su mentioned it. Talk about being slow on the uptake! LOL.

Love the expression in his eyes in that pic, almost flirtatious?

I am starting to really look forward to this now, i hope we don't have too long to wait.

Perhapd Damien has become self conscious with all the comments on his beard, lol!
Dan O'Brien is a bearded man, so I did assume that as Damien will be playing him in a weeks time in TBOAA that he would also have a beard for the role.

 This selfie has made me giddy

 

Am I the only one that thinks he took this shot back when he was filming.  It is hard to tell if he's just hiding a beard, there is just not enough of him peeking out, but I don't think so.  He's wearing a Jack shirt, not a Damo shirt.  Why would he do that to a press screening?  Also he doesn't have his ring on and his co-star appears to be wearing the same jacket as in the press photo.  I think he's totally giving a nod to the forum and the Homage to Hal book!  That cheeky pose is too similar to some of the selfies in the book.  He could have just taken the selfie himself, but I think he posed like this on purpose.

 

And I thought it was just a single picture he was holding up.

I hadn't considered the pic was taken at any other time than today until you mentioned it whimsy! I hadn't even noticed Clare in the corner! some detective I make who knows, I guess the promo pictures could have been made back then.

Incredibly lovely to take and share the photo with everyone though.

That pic is so lush, even if you can't see all his beautiful face. And I love the thought that he did it like that because of the Homage and that we love those kinds of pics...

It is a fab pic, not sure if it is Damien's or Clare's pic (she is taking the photo), I guess we cant be sure it is a homage to the Hal homage....'twas afterall Damien who inspired that particular pose!

I am a tad confused about when it was taken, as whimsy says they are both in costume, so if it was taken earlier does this also mean there was no press screening yesterday but that it happned earlier? It may be that Damien could only post this pic after channel 5 officially posted the pic themselves?

I think Whimsy's right in that they took the picture either whilst filming or during the press shoot for pictures - the one he's holding looks almost as though it's come straight off the printer.

I don't think he'd have mentioned that it was the press screening if it wasn't. I think Laura tweeted that some of her colleagues had gone there...

There was a previous press day too but that was for interviews, so the screening was yesterday, but this is an earlier photo from the previous press day and that is the press pack? that makes sense!

He could also dress like this in real life? We know he likes his clothes and fashion and it's a big event promoting Suspects so it wouldn't be beyond the realms of impossiblity to think he'd wear something like this in real life? It's smart and it's casual and it's also January and cold (hence the long sleeved shirt)

Yes Lisa, but if you look at the reflection of the photographer, Clare-Hop,e she is also in the same costume her character has been pictured in. It could be possible they wore their costumes on press screening day. I guess it doesn't really matter, lovely pic!
