I somehow feel that the dvd should come out before s3 airs........but the s1 dvd wasn't released until s2 had finished so I guess that could mean that s3 will air the first 2 weeks in January!!
The fact that s1 was advertised with 10 eps to be aired starting in Feb surely means that they have to have filmed all 10 last summer? There wouldn't have been any opportunity to film anymore berfore Feb.......so if they had only filmed 5 they would've said it was going to be 5 eps long from the start - and why have a 'next time' trailer at the end of ep 5?! Even if the IMDb page is overseen by Freemantle I still think it has to be a mistake. Although that doesn't explain the very strange decision not to air episodes which have already been filmed........

That's about as far as my thought process went too fifi Clare-Hope mentioned it returned in the 'New Year' which to me implies the beginning of Jan, so all being well we could be seeing series 3 in just weeks!
Series 1 came right after celebrity Big Brother in 2014, which ran from Jan - Feb, with Suspects premiering 12 Feb.
Series 2 followed on from regular Big Brother 2014 in the summer.
If the same format is followed, Celeb BB with return January 2015 and Suspects after... it would suggest later rather than early January, in fact February, but Channel 5 have already announced January so maybe they are doing it differently this time?

dramatic, but I'm not sure if I'm excited or worried about that. only 4 episodes set to air for S3, and we know there are more. What if Jack effs up and there's no S4?

You're in a real half glass full mood whimsy! Nah...I'll wager we'll be saying for a while yet, Suspects is CH 5's only home grown drama and.. good ratings, critical acclaim and award nominated! It'd be silly to end it in its prime.
I agree, domino - it seems very unlikely that channel 5 would ditch Suspects. As you say it's their only home-grown drama (which I believe is an area they want to expand) and it gets them pretty good viewing figures and the critics have only good things to say about it. But I do find myself wondering how long Damien would want to continue with it. Not that I think he doesn't enjoy it - but it seems to me that he will always want to move on to a new challenge. I sometimes wonder how long he would've carried on with BH if there had been other opportunities open to him...... But if he leaves a show because he chooses to move on to something else, then - much as I may miss the characters he leaves behind - it's exciting to see where he takes us next!!
