He is starring in feature films Kill Your Friends and Tiger Raid, and will appear in the National Theatre Live cinema broadcasts of The Hard Problem 16 April!

I'm not so sure that Kill Your Friends is my cup of tea so probably a toss up between Tiger Raid and The Hard Problem.

I'm still buzzing about Tiger Raid.  Of the three I know it's the one I'm looking most forward to.  It has elements I love, if the synopses are all correct - dark humor, intense action.  Plus 3 main actors, and he's the star.  The Hard Problem (at least to me) sounds more dry, intellectual - though I'm sure I'm completely off my mark and it will wow me, as I wasn't sure about TBOAA but that was fabulous.

It looks like a 100% victory for 'Tiger Raid' at the moment!

disappointing vote turnout though people - 85 views of the topic and only 3 votes? let's assume you are all still making your minds up! action

Whimsy, pretty much agree in terms of the two feature films.. As much as 'Kill Your Friends' is a thrilling prospect - such an incredible cast and it is going to be a cool film, probably gaining lots of attention - I am more excited for 'Tiger Raid' because Damien is a joint lead actor in it, which is where he deserves to be, and of course we get more DaMo screen time. The snippets we've had about the film are also incredibly compelling.

However.. the NT Live experience has a whole other level of excitement in that it will be LIVE - with Damien performing LIVE (oh my!) direct to the screen! The subject matter of the play is (as mentioned previously) very much up my alley.

Of course we don't know if any or all of the films are going to make it to the big screen. It is surprising how many go straight to DVD nowadays. Of course I (and we) want all of them to be on the big screen, who wouldn't want a huge picture of Damo right in front of us?

Pearl, sorry, but that's not the case, we do actually know The Hard Problem is DEFINITELY going to the big screen... and all over the world, via NT Live.

'Kill Your Friends' is also confirmed for uk release. and I'd be very surprised if that doesn't get an international release, same goes for Tiger Raid!

For once I'm going with the majority.........even though I'm looking forward to Kill Your Friends and there are a lot of unknowns around Tiger Raid....the fact that Damien is joint lead definately gives it the edge.  

I totally get your point about The Hard Problem being a live broadcast, domino and for that reason it's probably a close 2nd - but Tiger Raid is a proper feature film rather than a screening of a stage production so as far as potential cinematc experience goes it's got my vote!

Pretty much thinking much same things that fifi does. Going to see Damien on stage first time is huge thing for me, and there's a great change that they will broadcast The Hard Problem in Finland too, sense I found out there a many NT Live shows in here. So I'm going with that but between Tiger Raid and Kill your friends its hard to decide. Leading role in Tiger Raid might be big plus even I'm waiting to see what's DAMO doing in KYF sense I haven't read the book yet.

Since seeing Damien in character in the new images, my excitement levels have gone through the roof for Tiger Raid, a clear winner for me right now!

As The Hard Problem has been and gone, out of the two choices left has to be Tiger Raid as favourite, but also looking forward to Kill Your Friends, both genres are different too, and my kind of films without Damien in so being in them is a wonderful bonus... Wonder if either will be in IMAX locally....
