Yay!  I'm surprised they spoiled the death of Martha in the preview.  It wasn't a secret but casual fans probably weren't aware of that.

This looks set to be the most gripping series yet!

GASP to the opening! We knew about the loss of Martha, it was blatant from the Channel 5 synopsis.

But Jack discovering her and seeing the reality of it...

Also, these first glimpses of the tensions within the team are compelling indeed. 

 

(and does anyone think Neil Stuke stands a snowball's chance in the face of Jack's magical crime fighting pen?)

I squeee'd watching that trailer.  It's all about Jack!

Agree the opener, Jack being the one to discover Martha, ups the ante quite a bit.  Though I'm not surprised.  This show has always concentrated on Jack, it's only natural they'd have him make the initial discovery and follow along as he deals with the fallout.

But I think the best part for me was hearing Lenora's voice as her character berates Jack.  Dying to see Lenora and Damien playing off each other again.

Let's hurry on this one!!!!

It really is all about Jack!!  And only the briefest glimpse of Charlie - which I guess could be excused because they wanted to introduce the new characters as much as possible....but makes the prevelance of Jack clips even more significant!

And yes!  It was ridiculously exciting hearing Lenora's voice....  smile  I can't help thinking it might be a bit odd seeing them on screen together as different characters....it'll take a bit of getting used to!

 

Oh....and late summer tx date. coolbounce After BB finishes in August then?  (still definitely not speculating!! wink)

It is very Jack-centric, of course! I suspect the new line up is not going to be less of Jack as some people were fearing.. and the loss of Martha coupled with the new team is going to create even more of those golden Jack nuggets of drama. 

 

In terms of airdate, all mentions are still saying autumn.. but the series 2 trailer dropped on almost the same date in 2014 and it premiered 20 August...

Yeah but the S4 trailer also came out in summer and didn't air till almost winter.  I don't think we can count on anything definite. hmm

I am excited about seeing Lenora and Damien together again but I think it will be odd seeing them as different characters.  Even though she calls him Jack in the clip it still seams a bit to me like Annie chastising Hal.  I'm sure I'll get over that with longer scenes though.

Oooooh, I hadn't actually seen this trailer.

Looks as intense as ever, and it sounds like Jack will be walking a fine line, as usual.  Love his passion for his job and for justice. #capedcrusader

More excitement for having Lenora on.
