Going back to this post and the Channel 4 press release on upcoming comedy and entertainment highlights 2015/16 and the lack of 'Tripped' and 'Aliens' mention ... 

They are included in C4's Drama and Acquisitions highlights for Autumn/Winter 2015/16

Interesting they are listed in the drama slate not the comedy.. even though both were announced as comedy dramas..

Oh and 'Aliens' TX winter 2015?!?!

Ha! One thing I've learnt over the last couple of years is to take channels' projected tx dates with a very large pinch of salt!

What struck me about the 2 different press releases from c4 is Tripped and Aliens are pitched as drama. In another release for a different project they were also mentioned on their drama slate alongside such fare as 'Humans'. So this suggests some serious promo and attention.

Of course there is a possibility that Damien got the channel incorrect and it is actually Ch4, not E4.

It's possible, Pearl. But I can't help thinking you'd be more likely to mix it up the other way round. And didn't that interview also say E4?

Damien's panel response plus the Clean Break interview both say E4. Also would DaMo get it wrong in the first place, even under pressure ? ir's just too much of a significant fact relating to a project.

E4 sure does do drama fifi... off the top of my head 'My Mad Fat Diary' which is (was) brilliant!

Can't believe I forgot to mention Misfits one of the best things to come out of E4! Aliens and Tripped both sound like they are from the same bracket - sci fi comedy drama with more emphasis on the drama.

Casting for Aliens has been announced - no DaMo, but YAY to Michael Socha!

So, from our specualtive guesses so far for which E4 comedy Damien is filming, it is not 'Aliens', which leaves  'Crashing', a comedy drama which "crashes straight into the lives and loves of six twenty-to-thirty-something adults living together as Property Guardians in a disused hospital."

So.. do we think this Instagram photo posted by Damien can be a disused hosipital?

Yes! Obvs it may not be an actual disused hospital in RL. I meant... could this be the set where DaMo is filming, made to look like a disused hopsital?

That's what I meant, domino, but you put it more succinctly ;) But also it could be made to look like anything so it might not be for Crashing but something completely different that hasn't been made public yet. Or this might be the base for the crew and they were actually filming outside. Or it could be that the tweet is completely unrelated!

 Like making a crumbling down hotel mere paces from a busy street in the middle of town look like a languorous seaside hotel? wink

I agree, that "fart" pic could be a clue for filming.  Doesn't have to be an old school, it could be anywhere, an old office building.  Someone could have put up that sign as a joke, or it could even be part of the story in Crashing (or some other show).  It's maddening.  We just need more clues!

I was thinking that the "Fart Department" sign was on the crew area and the filming probably done elsewhere in the building.

When I first saw the pic Damien posted, I thought about him playing a teacher!
He does like to keep us guessing...

Maybe it is an entirely secret project...

But it is lovely to see him actually acknowledge that it's a filming tweet.....which makes me wonder all the more if it is a clue.  He really does like to keep us guessing, doesn't he!
